Role Overview
The Co Teacher role is a full-time position based in Cairo with a hybrid work model that includes some opportunities for remote work. In this role, you will collaborate closely with lead teachers to develop and deliver English lessons, assist with classroom activities, and reinforce learning goals. Primary duties include supporting lesson planning, preparing educational materials, leading small-group and individual learner activities, and tracking student progress. Additionally, the Co Teacher helps maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, provides learners with constructive feedback, contributes to student assessments and reporting, communicates effectively with the teaching team, participates in professional development sessions, and helps improve teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in lesson planning and education to create effective and structured learning experiences.
- Excellent communication abilities to clearly interact with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Proficient teaching and training capabilities to guide learners and support instructional processes.
- Relevant experience in English language education or a related field is advantageous.
- A bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related subject is preferred.
- Ability to work cooperatively within classroom settings and adapt to a hybrid working environment.
- Effective organizational skills along with dedication to fostering an inclusive, student-centered classroom.
