Role Overview
The Client Service Specialist will support clients across onboarding, account servicing, platform usage, and issue resolution. The role requires close coordination with internal teams and a solid understanding of financial products and market operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle client onboarding and the opening of new accounts for both retail and institutional customers.
- Respond to client questions, service requests, and complaints quickly and in a professional manner.
- Guide clients in using the platform across trading, funding, corporate actions, settlements, margin calculations, and position transfers.
- Investigate client problems, take full ownership of each case, and work with internal teams to resolve issues through the correct escalation path.
- Maintain working knowledge of financial products such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and global equities, futures, funds, and fixed income instruments.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of strong customer service experience; experience in the securities industry is preferred.
- Solid understanding of global financial markets and a range of financial instruments will be an advantage.
- Good negotiation skills, the ability to communicate clearly, and the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
- Comfortable speaking English; fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Self-driven, results-focused, able to work under pressure, and a cooperative team player.
