Job Overview

This is an on-call, part-time cleaning role based in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. Although it is a remote position, applicants must reside in the same city or region and be available to attend in-person meetings or training at local offices when requested.

About the Role

At Bridgepoint Maintenance, our cleaning team provides residential cleaning services across Ontario. Assignments primarily involve move-out, turnover, or post-maintenance cleaning, as well as periodic housekeeping in occupied homes. We seek reliable cleaners who deliver thorough, detail-focused work and can complete each task independently.

Typical Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning for move-out of residential rental units.
• Conduct turnover cleaning for vacant properties.
• Deep clean homes after maintenance, repair, or renovation work.
• Prepare residences prior to new occupant arrivals.
• Provide housekeeping services for occupied homes as scheduled.
• Clean various rooms including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, windowsills, and other detailed areas.
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and waste removal.
• Complete a quality walkthrough and ensure all tasks meet standards.
• Take completion photographs when required.
• Report any damage, maintenance needs, or cleaning concerns that require follow-up.
• Update job details via a mobile application.
• Travel directly between properties assigned during work days.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years paid professional cleaning experience.
• Ability to work independently on residential cleaning assignments.
• Experience with move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping preferred.
• Commitment to consistent, high-quality work with careful attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and report issues rather than overlook them.
• Professional communication skills with clients and operational teams.
• Possession of a reliable personal vehicle.
• Own cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Smartphone capable of GPS use, mobile work applications, photo capture, and job reporting.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Dependable attendance and organizational skills.

Additional Preferred Experience

• Residential turnover cleaning.
• Preparation for property turnovers.
• Post-maintenance or post-renovation cleaning.
• Cleaning in apartments and condominiums.
• Move-in and move-out cleaning assignments.
• Experience in high-volume residential cleaning settings.
