About the Role

Royal York Property Management, a prominent property management company overseeing numerous residential rental properties in Ontario, is seeking dependable and detail-focused Cleaners to join their expanding team. This position involves a mix of move-in and move-out cleaning, vacant unit turnover cleaning, and routine housekeeping for occupied residences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning for move-in and move-out processes at residential rental locations.
• Conduct detailed turnover cleaning in vacant homes and apartments.
• Deliver regular housekeeping services in occupied residences as needed.
• Clean various areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, floors, and common surfaces.
• Handle detailed tasks such as cleaning baseboards, interiors of cabinets, and appliances.
• Utilize a mobile work application to receive job assignments, follow instructions, navigate via GPS, upload photos, and update task statuses.
• Inspect all completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
• Report any property damages, maintenance issues, or areas that cannot be adequately cleaned.
• Travel independently between appointments using a personal vehicle.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of compensated professional cleaning experience.
• Comfortable performing both move-in/move-out and general housekeeping cleaning duties.
• Possession of a reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites and transporting cleaning supplies.
• Own necessary cleaning supplies and equipment to fulfill assigned cleaning tasks.
• Have a smartphone capable of running the company’s mobile application, including GPS, photo capture, and task updates.
• Comfortable cleaning detailed areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, baseboards, cabinets, and appliances.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to cleaning guidelines accurately.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to comply with GPS-verified arrival times.
