Civil Site Engineer / Supervisor

Overview

We seek a proficient and committed Civil Site Supervisor / Engineer to manage daily construction operations on building sites. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in civil construction procedures, site execution, quality assurance, labor coordination, and compliance with safety protocols. This role demands ensuring that construction activities align strictly with approved drawings, specifications, quality benchmarks, and scheduled deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations at the project location.
• Guarantee all work is performed following approved design drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Track construction advancement to ensure timely task execution.
• Manage and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and onsite labor teams.
• Distribute manpower, resources, and equipment effectively.
• Maintain the highest quality standards throughout the construction phases.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, Consultants, and clients to ensure seamless project progress.
• Inspect critical construction activities such as formwork, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Keep comprehensive daily site progress documentation and work logs.
• Verify materials use and identify shortages or waste, reporting accordingly.
• Enforce adherence to safety standards, cultivating a secure work environment.
• Identify challenges onsite promptly and implement solutions to reduce project delays.
• Perform routine inspections and ensure corrective measures are applied effectively.
• Oversee project schedules and communicate updates to management.
• Support site measurements, billing processes, and quantity validations.
• Ensure the site maintains cleanliness and discipline at all times.

Skills and Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of RCC, structural systems, finishing procedures, and general building construction.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Knowledgeable about construction materials and their application techniques.
• Effective leadership and team management capabilities.

Compensation

An offered salary range from 12,000 to 30,000 INR monthly.
