Civil Site Engineer - Building Construction Projects

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Civil Site Engineer to oversee daily construction operations, ensuring all activities align with approved plans, quality benchmarks, timelines, and safety regulations in building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site civil construction tasks daily.
• Verify construction follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Collaborate effectively with subcontractors, site supervisors, and team members.
• Track construction progress, maintain quality standards, and enhance productivity.
• Analyze engineering drawings and technical documents, addressing any site-related challenges.
• Perform site inspections to guarantee adherence to QA/QC protocols.
• Coordinate activities with MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Generate regular site reports, progress updates, and maintain documentation.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental guidelines and promote safe working conditions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelor's level).
• Minimum of 5 years working on building construction projects.
• Experience within UAE or GCC construction sector is preferred.
• Exposure to projects such as high-rise, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

Technical Competencies

• Expertise in building construction and civil works execution.
• Proficient in structural and finishing works supervision.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience with QA/QC inspections and subcontractor management.
• Ability to conduct material inspections effectively.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and BIM coordination is advantageous.
