Civil Maintenance Worker

Overview

The City of Perth is seeking a dedicated Civil Maintenance Worker to join their Infrastructure and Assets team based at Osborne Park Depot. This full-time permanent position offers a salary of $75,672 per annum plus superannuation.

About the Role

You will be an integral part of a skilled team managing the maintenance and construction of roads, footpaths, drainage systems, cycleways, and related public infrastructure. Reporting to the Team Leader Maintenance, you will carry out essential civil maintenance duties while ensuring safety and professionalism.

Key Duties

• Perform maintenance and repairs on roads, footpaths, drainage infrastructure, cycleways, and retaining walls.
• Carry out paving, kerbing, concreting, and other civil construction tasks with attention to quality standards.
• Operate and maintain various plant machinery, equipment, and hand tools safely.
• Install and upkeep traffic management signage and barriers while maintaining excellent customer service and safety standards.

Candidate Profile

• Experience operating civil construction or maintenance plant and equipment.
• Hands-on experience with road construction, drainage, paving, concreting, or kerbing.
• A strong dedication to workplace health and safety and adherence to safe work protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and take pride in delivering quality outcomes.
• Possession of a current MR Driver's Licence and a Construction Induction (White) Card is essential.
