About the Role

Management Controls Inc. (MCi), an innovative AI-driven organization based in Houston, Texas, seeks a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join the Executive Leadership team. The CTO will steer all technology-related areas, including product management, design, quality assurance, engineering, and infrastructure. This position requires a hybrid work schedule with on-site presence three days per week and is not open to sponsorship, relocation, or full remote arrangements.

MCi emphasizes the integration of artificial intelligence tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and proprietary AI systems to enhance workflow efficiency, productivity, and decision-making. All employees, including the CTO, must utilize AI responsibly, ensuring data security, compliance, and validation aligned with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and align technology strategy and product vision to the company’s overarching corporate objectives.
• Guide the evolution of innovative product concepts into fully developed market-ready solutions while balancing financial, marketing, and business goals.
• Oversee daily technology operations, coordinating teams across product management, design, quality assurance, engineering, and infrastructure to achieve product and company targets.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to direct reports.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote MCi's products effectively.
• Ensure product design and enhancements meet customer needs, enhance appeal, and contribute to revenue growth.
• Conduct in-depth research on future product strategies, market gaps, differentiation, and execution plans for product success.
• Identify and incorporate emerging technology innovations.
• Implement robust security protocols to safeguard company data and technology assets.
• Administer the technology department budget, including resource planning for projects.
• Promote adoption of innovative ideas and methodologies within the department.
• Support Sales and Customer Success teams through technological collaboration.
• Utilize AI-based tools and analytics to advance and optimize technology initiatives.
