StevenDouglas is assisting in the search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a rapidly expanding $20 million founder-led digital healthcare services firm based in Phoenix. This role represents the firm's inaugural strategic finance leadership position, serving as a key business partner to the CEO.
Role Summary and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is a growth-focused finance professional, potentially someone stepping up as a second-in-command ready to assume their initial CFO role. This person will have full responsibility for all financial areas including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and planning, cash flow management, audit preparation, and oversight of financial systems. Beyond finance, they will engage in operational modeling, compensation framework design, and business process enhancements while acting as a strategic advisor to both the CEO and board of directors.
The CEO seeks a trusted operating partner capable of autonomous work and simplifying complex issues while establishing credibility within the company.
Requirements
- Previous healthcare industry experience is mandatory.
