About the Role
Ferretti Search is pleased to collaborate with a growing construction firm seeking a Chief Financial Officer based in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation package ranging from $180,000 to $200,000 base salary plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Direct accounting functions, manage financial reports, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow for the entire organization.
- Construction Finance Expertise: Oversee job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, analyze project profitability, and deliver financial insights to support operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations and project leaders to increase margins, optimize capital management, and support sustainable growth strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Create financial models, assess expansion opportunities, and provide actionable guidance to executive leadership.
- Operational Enhancements: Improve financial reporting processes, internal controls, and systems to drive greater efficiency.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead the finance and accounting team while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Candidate Profile
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
- Construction Finance Knowledge: Proven experience with construction accounting, including job costing, WIP schedules, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Business Acumen: Ability to collaborate effectively with operations teams and use financial data to influence business decisions.
- Leadership Experience: History of managing finance teams and partnering with executive leadership in a dynamic environment.
- Growth Mindset: Eager to assume greater responsibilities, lead strategic initiatives, and create significant business impact.
