Role Scope

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and partnering closely with the Board, the CFO will own the global finance function and serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team. The position is central to value creation through disciplined financial stewardship, thoughtful capital deployment, operational discipline, and growth-focused execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct corporate finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, and external financial reporting.
• Maintain full compliance with SEC reporting obligations and public-company governance expectations.
• Work with the Board and executive leadership to shape and implement long-term business strategy.
• Create and execute capital allocation plans that support both internal growth and acquisition-led expansion.
• Oversee financing work, including equity and debt raises, banking partnerships, and capital markets activity.
• Take an active leadership role in mergers and acquisitions, from opportunity assessment and financial due diligence to deal execution and post-deal integration.
• Manage investor relations and support communication with institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders.
• Develop finance systems, internal controls, and reporting structures that can scale with the business.
• Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Provide commercial financial leadership across manufacturing operations, international markets, complex supply chains, and project-based delivery models.
• Improve finance operations, reporting quality, and business intelligence capabilities on an ongoing basis.

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring substantial executive finance leadership experience from publicly listed industrial or technology organisations.

• Prior service as CFO of a Nasdaq- or NYSE-listed company is required.
• Background in industrial technology, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, defence, deep technology, or a similarly complex engineering environment is strongly preferred.
• Deep experience with SEC filings, public-company governance, and board-level reporting is essential.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, global supply chains, and project-based commercial delivery is expected.
• Proven ability to support growth through both organic expansion and mergers and acquisitions.
• Hands-on experience leading sophisticated financing efforts, including equity, debt, and capital markets transactions.
• Well-developed investor relations experience, including interaction with institutional investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders.
• Track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams in rapidly expanding businesses.
• Strong command of financial controls, enterprise risk management, and corporate governance.
• CPA or an equivalent accounting credential is preferred.
• An MBA or advanced finance qualification would be an advantage.
