Role summary

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and leading the day-to-day operations of TravelNext Ventures. This role is based onsite in the Poznan Metropolitan Area and focuses on guiding investment strategy, overseeing portfolio performance, managing capital deployment, and strengthening risk controls across multiple sectors and international markets.

The CEO will work closely with senior leaders to build a high-accountability culture, encourage ethical decision-making, and improve coordination across offices. The position also involves investor and partner engagement, representation at industry events, deal sourcing, business development, long-range planning, organizational growth, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and a strong focus on innovation.

Responsibilities

• Set the firm’s vision, strategic priorities, and performance expectations.
• Direct investment strategy, capital allocation, portfolio oversight, and risk management.
• Lead senior management teams and reinforce accountability across the organization.
• Promote ethical business conduct and collaborative working practices across offices.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, partners, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the company at industry events and external business forums.
• Drive business development initiatives and source potential deals.
• Guide long-term planning, expansion, and organizational development.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Improve internal systems, processes, and operational efficiency.
• Encourage innovation and continuous improvement across the business.

Requirements

• Strong background in finance, including investment analysis, capital allocation, portfolio management, and risk review.
• Demonstrated ability in operations management, with experience improving processes and scaling organizations.
• Capability in business planning and strategic planning, including vision setting, market expansion, and organizational structure.
• Proven success in sales and business development, especially in investor relationship building and complex deal closure.
• Extensive executive leadership experience in investment, private equity, venture capital, or a similar field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills for work across international markets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for dealing with investors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• International exposure is considered a strong advantage.
