Role Overview

The Channel Manager for Latin America at Omilia is responsible for facilitating the company's channel growth throughout LATAM. Unlike replicating North America’s approach, this role embraces a specialized regional go-to-market strategy tailored specifically for Latin America, concentrating particularly on Brazil and Mexico. The position involves activating partners, fostering pipeline growth, and supporting field activities in key markets. Working collaboratively with the Channel Director, LATAM, the role focuses on building and energizing a network comprising regional integrators, carrier-affiliated distribution partners, and system integrator-led CCaaS deployment partners to expand Omilia’s market footprint and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete partner activation cycle for regional integrators, carrier-linked distributors, and SI-driven CCaaS deployment partners in critical LATAM markets, from initial contact through to revenue generation.
  • Accelerate the creation of sustainable partner-sourced sales pipelines across Brazil, Mexico, and other pivotal markets, ensuring that channel contributions progressively meet and surpass regional booking goals.
  • Maintain consistent, precise CRM data for all partner-sourced opportunities, safeguarding accuracy in pipeline attribution and enabling dependable revenue forecasting and partner reporting.
  • Enhance Omilia’s reputation as a credible and approachable vendor within LATAM partner circles, distinguishing it from other CCaaS and conversational AI competitors.
  • Serve as the operational core of the LATAM-specific channel go-to-market strategy, providing the Channel Director, LATAM with the necessary field insights, partner connections, and pipeline transparency to inform strategic direction.
  • Identify and promptly report any deficiencies, risks, or shortcomings in the LATAM partner ecosystem that could jeopardize revenue, recommending corrective actions as needed.

Additional Duties

  • Support the Channel Director, LATAM with onboarding and activating integrators, carriers, and SIs within the region.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with technology advisors, telecom integrators, and contact center-focused SIs in priority LATAM markets.
  • Collaborate on co-selling initiatives alongside the Channel Director and Omilia’s Account Executives for partner-driven opportunities.
  • Raise awareness of Omilia’s offerings within LATAM partner communities through events, training, and direct engagement.
  • Keep CRM pipeline data for partner-sourced opportunities current and accurate.
  • Monitor partner engagement and performance metrics, alerting the Channel Director to any risks or issues.
  • Represent Omilia at regional partner events and industry gatherings to boost brand visibility and generate potential leads.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Between 3 and 7 years of experience in channel development, partner sales, or business development within LATAM technology sectors.
  • Deep knowledge of LATAM market dynamics, including regional telecom integrators and carriers such as Telefonica/Movistar and Claro, along with SI-driven implementation models.
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with proficiency in English.
  • Expertise in building strong partner relationships with a collaborative selling approach focused on partnership success.
  • Capability to independently manage activities across multiple key markets and coordinate a distributed partner network.

Preferred Credentials

  • Experience with CCaaS, contact center technologies, or conversational AI solutions.
  • Existing partnerships or contacts among CCaaS SIs or telecom integrators in Brazil or Mexico.
  • Familiarity with the emerging adoption of conversational AI within LATAM enterprises.
  • Background working in startups or rapidly scaling SaaS companies.

Benefits and Work Environment

  • Competitive fixed salary package.
  • Long-term employment with standard working days and vacation entitlement.
  • Opportunities for professional development including courses and training sessions.
  • Engagement with cutting-edge, globally impactful technology products in the service industry.
  • A collaborative and enjoyable team culture.
  • Provision of Apple equipment.
