Casual Exams Invigilator

Opportunity Overview

Twynham Learning is seeking casual Exams Invigilators to support examination processes at Twynham School and The Grange School in Christchurch, Dorset. This position offers flexible, zero-hours contract work aligned with exam schedules primarily during November, January through June.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise students during public and internal examinations to maintain exam integrity.
• Manage students with scheduling clashes between exams, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Prepare examination rooms and distribute and collect exam materials following strict regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain vigilance and organization during exam sessions while remaining calm under pressure.

Candidate Profile

• Highly organized individuals with keen attention to detail.
• Reliable and able to promptly respond to short-notice calls.
• Interest in education and enjoyment in working with young people.
• Positive attitude, self-driven, and enthusiastic team players.
• Previous invigilation experience is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

Employment Terms

• Casual zero-hours contract with no guaranteed hours.
• Hourly pay of 34.40 inclusive of holiday pay.
• Work will typically involve whole or partial day sessions, some beginning before 8:00 a.m. and ending after 3:30 p.m.
