Job Summary

We are searching for a reliable, customer-oriented, and meticulous Cashier to join our retail team and manage billing and payment processes at the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily billing and cash counter activities efficiently.
• Issue precise bills using the store's billing software.
• Process various payment methods including cash, UPI, cards, and digital payments.
• Maintain accurate records of daily cash and payment transactions.
• Handle product returns, exchanges, and billing adjustments following company policies.
• Conduct cash counter reconciliation at the end of each day or shift.
• Collaborate with sales personnel regarding billing and customer needs.
• Provide polite and professional assistance to customers at the billing desk.
• Ensure items are properly packed and handed over to customers.
• Report any discrepancies in billing, payments, or cash to the store manager promptly.
• Keep the cash counter clean and well-organized.
• Adhere strictly to company policies involving discounts, offers, and payment procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience as a cashier or in retail preferred.
• Basic familiarity with billing or POS software.
• Good communication skills and ability to handle customers effectively.
• Fundamental understanding of cash handling and digital payment methods.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and responsible individual.
• Capable of working efficiently in a busy retail environment.
• Basic proficiency in Telugu and English; knowledge of Hindi is advantageous.

Experience

Between zero to two years of experience in cashiering, retail, supermarkets, fashion outlets, or similar customer service roles is preferred.

Working Hours and Salary

Working hours are according to the store’s shift schedule. Salary ranges from ₹12,000 to ₹18,000 per month based on experience and skills.
