Overview
Petro-Canada is hiring a cashier for its Banff, Alberta location. This role is based at the physical workplace and cannot be done remotely.
Language Requirement
English is required for this position.
Education
A secondary school graduation certificate is needed.
Experience
No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle transactions at the cash register accurately.
- Scan products and process purchases.
- Accept customer payments for merchandise or services.
- Reconcile cash and shift totals against sales at the end of the day.
- Encourage additional purchases through suggestive selling.
- Restock shelves and keep the counter area clean.
- Welcome customers and provide a friendly front-line experience.
- Bag or wrap purchased items as needed.
- Deliver helpful customer service.
- Support promotional activities when required.
