Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer warmly and courteously.
• Conduct all purchase transactions promptly and efficiently, including merchandise deactivation under the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Encourage customers to participate in company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charity initiatives.
• Help customers with bagging and loading their merchandise.
• Adhere to safe working practices, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Safeguard register security and integrity through meticulous cash handling, strict compliance with company policies, and heightened awareness of the environment.
• Refer relevant service or transactional matters to the Customer Service Manager when needed.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.35 CAD.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
