Job Overview

Matar Holding company is looking for a dependable and meticulous Cashier to accurately manage cash transactions and deliver outstanding customer service. This role requires handling various payment methods, maintaining transaction records, reconciling cash balances, and ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payments received in cash, credit/debit cards, and other accepted methods.
• Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations to customers.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all cash transactions.
• Reconcile the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift for accuracy.
• Make cash deposits following established company procedures.
• Prepare and submit daily cash reports to the Finance Department.
• Manage payment-related activities such as refunds, exchanges, and resolving discrepancies per company guidelines.
• Ensure cash counters remain organized and secure throughout the workday.
• Assist customers professionally with queries related to payments.
• Collaborate with the Finance and Accounts teams regarding daily collections.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and transactional information.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and internal control protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 2 to 3 years experience working as a Cashier, preferably within retail, manufacturing, or commercial sectors.
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.

• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and foundational computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
• Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Basic English proficiency; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
