Carrier Relations Specialist - Voice

About the Role

We are seeking a Carrier Relations Specialist (Voice) to play a vital role in expanding and fortifying our international voice network. This position involves strategic collaboration with telecom carriers, mobile operators, and voice aggregators throughout the region.

Key Duties

• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with telecom carriers, mobile operators, and voice aggregators in regional and international markets.
• Drive the expansion of DID number coverage and A-Z voice route availability to meet the growth demands of enterprise and wholesale voice services.
• Lead commercial negotiations and partnership agreements focused on margin optimization and long-term collaboration.
• Maintain awareness of telecommunications regulations, numbering policies, and compliance rules across the region to spot business opportunities and ensure adherence.
• Work collaboratively with internal groups such as Sales, Product, Routing, Operations, Pricing, and Compliance to provide competitive and scalable voice solutions.
• Assist Compliance teams in onboarding suppliers and customers by ensuring compliance with regulatory and Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.
• Keep abreast of market trends, carrier developments, and industry changes to maintain competitive advantage.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Significant experience in Carrier Relations, Procurement, Sales, Business Development, or similar roles within telecommunications.
• In-depth knowledge of international voice markets and DID voice number services is highly desired but not mandatory.
• Pre-existing connections with mobile operators, local aggregators, or wholesale voice carriers are considered a plus.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating commercial contracts and managing strategic supplier or carrier partnerships.
• Commercially focused with strong analytical abilities, problem-solving aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Self-driven and goal-oriented, capable of working independently yet contributing positively to a team-focused environment.
• Adaptable and resourceful with excellent interpersonal skills, thriving in a diverse, fast-moving global setting.
