Car Detailer - Full Time

About the Role

Avis Budget Group is seeking a dedicated Car Detailer to join their team in Lihue, HI. This position involves hands-on, active work primarily outdoors, focusing on preparing vehicles to meet customer expectations by ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness for the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Detail vehicles to meet quality and cleanliness standards by washing, vacuuming, sanitizing interiors, and removing trash.
• Prepare vehicles for next rental including refueling, checking fluid levels and tire pressure, inspecting for body damage, and monitoring dashboard warning lights.
• Move, park, and organize vehicles within airport lots as needed.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, reliability, and availability for customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, high-quality work.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions amid moderate noise.
• Flexibility to work all shifts.
• Physical capability to lift up to 15 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, enter, exit vehicles continuously, and operate various vehicles.
• Minimum age of 18 and legal authorization to work in the United States.
• This job requires a regular on-site presence and is not suitable for remote work.
