The company places strong emphasis on belonging, inclusion, and fairness. Its culture is supported through talent development, learning and communication, employee communities, and celebration initiatives.

Role Overview: Buyer, Special Capsules - EMEA

This role focuses on delivering the EMEA rollout of sports partnerships, regional activations, and brand-led programs in line with global direction and local market requirements. It requires close partnership with buying, planning, creative, retail, marketing, e-commerce, customer service, and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth planning and execution.

You will work with regional buying teams to support the setup, launch, and performance of global capsule collections, while also encouraging stronger collaboration across brands to improve efficiency and delivery standards.

Sports Partnerships

  • Lead EMEA execution for major global sports partnerships such as Wimbledon, the Olympics, US Open, MLB, and golf programs including Ryder Cup, St Andrews, and Evian.
  • Shape and implement the regional distribution approach for partnership product launches.
  • Ensure the region stays aligned across brands so launches are consistent and coordinated.
  • Oversee full operational readiness, including EU pricing, PLIR setup, and market availability.
  • Run the end-to-end go-to-market process from kickoff through launch and post-launch review.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build DTC distribution and buying plans that support commercial goals.
  • Partner with buying teams on assortment planning, distribution structure, and stock control.
  • Coordinate with creative and buying teams on in-store presentation, merchandising direction, and launch timing.
  • Work with marketing to manage orders for officials’ uniforms, including forecasting, delivery tracking, and year-over-year stock planning.
  • Handle marketing-related product orders, making sure order placement, delivery progress, and inventory movement are tracked carefully.

Regional Initiatives with Marketing

  • Support regional activation projects by defining the product approach and keeping all stakeholders aligned.

Travel Retail

  • Develop and distribute special product assortments for Travel Retail, ensuring they fit channel strategy and customer expectations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own assortment, pricing, and forecasting decisions for the product line while staying aligned with financial goals and market direction.
  • Keep all line details updated accurately in the system.
  • Review performance metrics such as sell-out, gross margin, and key KPIs to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Compare assortment and pricing choices against competitor activity and wider market conditions to guide decision-making.
  • Create and present assortment decks for line-opening meetings, clearly explaining the plan, business logic, and commercial outlook.
  • Support informed decision-making and ongoing improvement across the business.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

The role calls for strong cross-functional working skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to support teams across different functions. Candidates should be comfortable using business systems such as GFE, PriceSmart, SAP, and similar tools, and should be capable of building effective presentation decks that tell a strong product story.

Good communication and influencing skills are important, along with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for analysis and reporting. The position also values international exposure through work or study, sound knowledge of the retail environment and in-store execution, and fluency in English. Additional languages are considered beneficial.

A genuine commitment to diversity and inclusion, plus a strong drive to contribute to a high-performing culture, are important for success in this role.

Experience Requirement

You should have at least 3 full strategic cycles of experience as a Buyer or in a comparable merchandising or planning role.
