Overview
The Business Strategy Analyst will operate within the COO office of a foreign bank based in New York City. This role supports the client and product teams through comprehensive daily business management, business development, and project coordination to ensure smooth implementation of business strategies covering the client and product lifecycle. Close collaboration with departments such as Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Finance is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily operational support to corporate client and product teams.
- Assist in strategic business development efforts and COO initiatives by partnering with departmental leaders and aiding in planning, analysis, and execution of growth projects.
- Provide project management assistance for both strategic and operational assignments.
- Support senior business managers by preparing analytical documents, presentations, meeting materials, and minutes.
- Examine client and product data to identify data quality issues and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and revise banking policies by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in audit processes including exam fieldwork, remediation planning, and addressing internal/external audit findings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar fields.
- Minimum of two years' experience in financial services, preferably within banking.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Highly self-motivated professional with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrates strong initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to undertake new responsibilities as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside keen analytical aptitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
