Business Screening Team Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Screening Team Lead based in Germany to manage and enhance business screening operations in a global, remote-first setting. This leadership role involves overseeing multiple screening teams, refining operational workflows, and ensuring superior quality throughout the talent assessment process. The position demands collaboration with various departments to improve screening approaches, monitor key performance indicators, and support the expansion of scalable screening methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Business Screening teams to meet quality and operational benchmarks.
• Evaluate team performance and operational data to introduce efficiency and quality improvements.
• Organize and implement new screening projects and procedural updates across the screening division.
• Manage screening procedures and support the development of new talent evaluation specializations.
• Partner with cross-departmental teams including quality assurance and analytics to refine screening methods and reporting.
• Assist in workforce planning processes including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing mentoring of screening personnel.
• Handle escalations related to screening, investigate complex issues, and ensure timely resolution focused on customer satisfaction.
• Maintain precise documentation of screening guidelines and standards to assure consistency and compliance.
• Promote ongoing process improvement through detailed data analysis and cooperation with internal stakeholders.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
• Between three to five years or more experience in operations management, team leadership, or project/business process management.
• Proven record in leading teams, optimizing operational workflows, and managing cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical capabilities to assess performance metrics and guide decisions with data.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to efficiently collaborate with diverse teams.
• Highly organized with strong time management abilities and acute attention to detail.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, and personnel management.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote context.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and skilled at building consensus across varied teams.
• Experience in the technology sector or IT environment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles is an advantage.
