Overview
This position involves leading the development, implementation, and enhancement of governance frameworks alongside driving strategic initiatives and managing performance within the areas of Procurement, New Parts Development, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support documentation, standardization, and continuous process improvement efforts.
- Identify opportunities for simplifying processes, enhancing digital tools, and improving efficiency.
- Assist in deploying new operational processes, tools, and governance mechanisms.
- Facilitate change management related to strategy and governance initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and track Procurement & Supply Chain strategies and roadmaps.
- Convert strategic goals into actionable plans with milestones and KPIs.
- Prepare strategic presentations, updates, and decision support documents for leadership meetings.
- Coordinate compliance and governance activities including audits and internal assessments.
- Monitor and ensure timely resolution of governance forum and audit action items.
- Maintain dashboards and reports to track Procurement & Supply Chain performance metrics.
- Analyze performance data to uncover trends, risks, and potential areas for improvement.
- Support structured management reporting and periodic reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA/Operations/Strategy) is preferred.
- Over 8 years' experience in strategy, governance, audits, PMO, procurement, new parts development, supplier quality, or supply chain roles.
- Familiarity with corporate governance, compliance, or performance management frameworks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of automotive procurement and supply chain processes required.
- Mandatory experience with APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, ISO standards, and VDA 6.3.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with structured and logical thinking.
- Excellent skills in presentation and documentation using PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in working with Artificial Intelligence tools, data analytics, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail coupled with disciplined execution.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal.
