Central Operations, a new division within CN, aims to streamline and synchronize our operational processes, leveraging real-time data and business insights to enhance efficiency and accelerate strategic goals. This initiative focuses on improving both human and cost efficiencies to boost operational leverage, operating income, profit, and revenue.

Your Role and Impact

As a Business Operations Analyst, you will manage the entire process of fund commitment within Cisco. This involves understanding and adhering to Cisco’s purchasing policies, entering funding requests, overseeing approvals, and providing support through inquiry resolution and modifications. Your responsibilities extend to managing cross-charge functions and accrual processes, collaborating closely with Business Units, Finance, Procurement, and Security Compliance organizations.

You will utilize Cisco’s proprietary Business Operations Command Center Toolset to perform these functions, delivering necessary training, documentation, and operational support to the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute all Purchase Order (PO) and Sales Order (SO) Commitments (CCW Requests).
• Support financial accrual processes.
• Manage Beeline (C-Worker Connect) transactions end-to-end.
• Handle mid-quarter budget adjustments and amendments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective use of approved budgets.
• Assist requesters through the purchasing process and onboard new suppliers.
• Review contracts to ensure compliance with Finance approval requirements.
• Manage all Cross Charges for the Business Unit.
• Strictly follow GPS, GSM, and Finance policies related to fund commitments.
• Manage multiple work streams simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.
• Continuously improve business operations practices and processes.
• Communicate effectively across different time zones, cultures, and organizational levels.
• Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of experience in business support related to Finance or Operations.
• Preferably 2+ years of Cisco-specific experience in operations or finance, including end-to-end PO cycle management and internal ordering (CCW).
• Proficiency in Cisco systems such as CCW, SmartBuy, Beeline (CWC), and FinABC.
• Basic understanding of financial categories: Opex, Capex, and COGS.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and Procurement policies concerning fund commitments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience driving cross-functional team alignment and decision-making.
• Familiarity with business operations encompassing budgeting, procurement, hiring, onboarding, contracts, and negotiation.
• Ability to create and present sophisticated spreadsheets for data and comparative analysis.
• A dynamic, energetic team player with a collaborative spirit.
