Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, modifying, and providing ongoing functional support for a variety of business applications. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders across business units to ensure technology solutions effectively support strategic goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders in multiple business functions to align IT solutions with company strategies.
• Gather detailed business requirements and translate them effectively for development teams.
• Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to guide informed system implementation decisions.
• Utilize comprehensive business knowledge to resolve issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Provide support for one or several complex business processes.

• Act as a communication bridge between business users and IT personnel to deliver technical solutions that fulfill user requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical discipline required; advanced degrees such as an MBA are preferred.
• Five to seven years of relevant experience.
• Basic programming knowledge to enable understanding of code and core functions.
• Strong ability to develop business solutions that enhance competitive advantage.
• Good judgment in choosing appropriate methods and techniques to solve problems.
• Project management capabilities to juggle numerous projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Competence in diagnosing and resolving technical and process-related challenges.
• Focus on delivering high-quality technical solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse technical knowledge levels.
• Analytical aptitude to investigate complex scenarios and propose creative solutions based on thorough research.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate between $50 and $55, with overtime eligible at 1.5x base rate for hours over 40 per week as applicable by law.
