Role Overview
We seek an experienced Business Development Specialist to spearhead outreach and partnership building with Singapore's elite private and international K-12 schools, using Singapore as a regional hub. This pivotal position involves driving product adoption, managing strategic client relationships, and contributing to market expansion within Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently cultivate and establish partnerships with private and international schools leveraging personal networks or industry contacts.
- Present and advocate for OpenApply's advanced AI-driven educational solutions to senior school stakeholders including Heads of School, Board Members, Admissions Directors, and University Counsellors.
- Translate product offerings into essential empowerment solutions through meticulous commercial consultations, contract negotiations, and implementation oversight.
- Maintain and nurture enduring partnerships ensuring high client retention and fostering organic referrals.
- Engage in regional school visits and represent OpenApply at significant EdTech and international education conferences to glean customer insights and guide product improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated successful experience and established network within private and international schools, especially in Singapore or Southeast Asia, targeting B2B engagements in business development, admissions, or product deployment.
- Possession of a verified track record of sales and partnership successes in the education sector.
- Willingness to travel frequently locally and regionally for face-to-face engagements.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous for cross-border communication with core teams.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and negotiating capabilities, capable of independently managing outcomes.
