Role Purpose
US stocks and equities represent a major growth opportunity for Gate, and the company is investing seriously in this area. The business already has the platform, user base, and ambition; what is needed now is a professional with deep experience in the equities ecosystem who can create opportunities, form the right partnerships, and help convert product launch into a real business. This position may be shaped as either a leadership role or a senior individual contributor role, depending on the candidate’s background.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute growth plans for Gate’s US stocks and equities business across global markets.
- Create strategic relationships with broker-dealers, liquidity providers, market makers, fintech companies, and institutional counterparties.
- Grow affiliate, introducing broker, key opinion leader, and channel partner networks to increase user acquisition and trading activity.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, compliance, and regional teams to deliver the strategy effectively.
- Monitor competitors, regulatory developments, and new commercial opportunities in the US equities landscape.
- Help bring new stock trading products and features to market.
- Either manage and expand a team or work independently in a senior IC capacity, depending on experience and fit.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or institutional sales in brokerage, fintech, or trading-platform environments. A strong command of US equities market structure and the broader ecosystem is essential, along with an existing network that includes brokers, market makers, fintech firms, or institutional clients. You should have a clear history of generating revenue, partnerships, or user growth, and be fluent in English with the ability to work comfortably across global, cross-functional teams.
Preferred Background
Additional advantages include prior experience leading a business development or partnerships team, working for a global exchange, online brokerage, or fintech trading platform, and familiarity with products such as equities, ETFs, options, margin, or multi-asset offerings. Experience managing affiliate or introducing broker growth programs is also a strong advantage.
