Role Overview
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by leveraging networks, cold calls, online platforms, and referrals to generate qualified leads and convert them into successful sales.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify potential clients and generate new business prospects through various outreach methods including cold calling and digital channels.
- Arrange and participate in client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to effectively showcase offerings.
- Prepare comprehensive business proposals, quotes, and tender documents as required.
- Establish and nurture enduring client and partner relationships.
- Negotiate terms to close business deals efficiently and meet set sales goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of leads, meetings, sales efforts, and follow-up actions.
- Represent the organization at industry exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and related events.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to shape business strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Willingness and preparedness to travel extensively across India and internationally when necessary for business development activities.
- Possession of a valid passport or a commitment to acquire one if international travel is involved.
- Flexibility to travel on short notice and accommodate stays at project sites if required.
