Role Overview

This role is for a Biofuels Trader/Originator to be part of their expanding team. The selected candidate will independently develop and manage a bio-commodities trading portfolio, working closely with an experienced operations and management support team. This position is entrepreneurial in nature, where your profitability and deal flow directly impact your success.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and expand supply volumes of bio-feedstocks and biofuel products autonomously
• Structure and negotiate diverse commercial agreements including offtake, tolling, and blending contracts
• Collaborate with international offices regarding allocation strategies, financing options, and risk management
• Contribute to regional asset-based projects
• Assume comprehensive responsibility for strategic planning, trading execution, and overall performance

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• Three to five years of relevant experience in physical commodity trading, biofuels, or feedstock origination
• Demonstrated success in deal-making or business development
• An entrepreneurial outlook with strong motivation for autonomy and results
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
• Willingness to travel frequently and ability to succeed in dynamic, fast-paced environments
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
