Overview
The Business Development Associate will contribute to growth and market expansion initiatives across Saudi Arabia. Located in regional offices, this role focuses on identifying, researching, and qualifying high-value opportunities in key sectors such as Land, Aviation, Healthcare, Data Centers, and Logistics. The incumbent will serve as a vital part of the business development team by transforming complex market information into strategic insights, creating persuasive pitch materials, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate excels in cross-team collaboration, thrives in dynamic corporate settings, and supports localization and expansion in line with KSA's Vision 2030.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth market research and qualification efforts to pinpoint growth opportunities in core target sectors including Logistics, Land, Aviation, Healthcare, and Data Centers.
- Generate comprehensive market analyses, competitor benchmarking, and macroeconomic trend evaluations to guide strategic decisions.
- Prepare impactful briefing notes, presentation decks, and commercial proposals, working closely with design teams to produce polished client-ready materials.
- Support complex commercial bids and strategic pilot projects throughout the proposal process.
- Manage and regularly update business development tracking systems to ensure smooth follow-up on post-meeting actions.
- Create and maintain detailed stakeholder maps to monitor influential decision-makers across public and private sectors within KSA.
- Coordinate data and feedback across different Operating Companies to develop a cohesive overview of the organization's business development pipeline.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Two to four years of experience in business development, market research, management consulting, or as a corporate analyst, ideally in the GCC or Saudi Arabian markets.
- Knowledge of at least two of the focused sectors such as Logistics, Healthcare, Aviation, Infrastructure, or Data Centers.
- Understanding of the KSA business environment, including government procurement practices and corporate norms.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve based on government directives or market changes.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to develop data-driven presentations and financial/market assessments.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with fluency in English mandatory and Arabic language skills highly advantageous for effective local stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and capability to synthesize data from multiple business units within tight timeframes.
