Business Analyst

Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions invites applications for a Business Analyst position to join a leading banking client in Jacksonville, Florida. This role, known as Markets Support Analyst, is part of the US Securities Lending Middle Office and Operations team supporting Stock Loan, Corporate Bonds, and Equity Financing trading desks.

Key Responsibilities

• Take initiative in resolving daily risk issues with minimal supervision, focusing on prioritization, reporting, and managing collateral for high-value exposures and settlement exceptions.
• Process recall requests, input wire transactions, handle journals, and investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
• Work independently to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging deep knowledge of internal systems and external market conditions.
• Adapt to ongoing business and regulatory changes creatively, striving to enhance business support while reducing costs.
• Assist in pre-matching future dated trades, verify cash trade values with external clients, process internal system cash applications, and oversee cash settlement movements in the market.

• Ability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience working within securities lending operations is advantageous.
