Business Analyst (IC)

Overview

This position requires a Business Analyst with expertise in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain and strong IT business analysis capabilities. The candidate will play a pivotal role in defining project scopes, articulating user stories, working within project management frameworks, and leading multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Competencies

• Comprehensive knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance processes and concepts.
• Extensive experience in IT business analysis and detailed IT project documentation.
• Ability to define project scope and articulate clear user stories.
• Strong understanding and experience working within project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, including writing queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
• Experience in Agile environments and quality assurance including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Additional familiarity with XML and JSON formats is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Power BI dashboard creation is beneficial but not mandatory.
