Overview
We invite experienced Business Analysts with a strong background in e-messaging to join a leading financial client project based in Toronto, Ontario. This contract role involves managing extensive documentation essential to a major banking initiative, involving collaboration with both technical and operational teams to review and refine documentation spanning over ten years.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and sustain comprehensive operability and reliability documentation across production, staging, and development environments.
- Work closely with internal and external audit teams, process specialists, and technical subject experts to review, organize, and enhance operational artifacts.
- Ensure documentation accurately reflects standards and procedures through continual maintenance.
- Develop and deliver reports, plans, and proposals to diverse stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships across multiple teams and business units.
- Perform critical evaluations of current workflows to identify gaps and suggest enhancements.
- Assist in platform lifecycle activities, including system configuration, administration, and user support for technology tools.
- Adapt to changing priorities within dynamic work settings, managing deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Display strong technical skills with hands-on experience supporting applications and configurations in an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education completed.
- Between 5 to 7 years experience in a Business Analyst or comparable role.
- Minimum of 3 years experience specifically in e-messaging systems and support.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Skilled in producing and managing technical documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Independent self-starter with the capability to work autonomously.
- Experience supporting operational documents and processes within Agile methodologies.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Background working with financial services organizations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure support or platform lifecycle management.
- Participation in process improvement projects.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders both within and external to the team effectively.
Compensation
The remuneration for this contract position ranges between $69.57 and $83.48 Canadian dollars per hour.
