Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Business Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. This role requires transforming transactional, marketing, traffic, and operational data into actionable insights that influence strategic and tactical business decisions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from marketing, operations, finance, and technology departments to convert data into valuable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop a comprehensive understanding of business processes to define use cases and user stories for various applications.
- Create and maintain robust business reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Report directly to the Platform owner, fostering collaboration with business units and IT teams.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and map them accurately to data sources and data warehouses; perform detailed business analysis and data querying.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including business, engineering, and partner teams, to ensure alignment within your focus area.
- Lead analytical projects applying a broad knowledge of analytical methodologies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in analytics with proven expertise in developing dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Sound understanding of statistical and analytical methods.
- Extensive knowledge of the E-Commerce and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) commerce sectors.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Enthusiasm for understanding consumer behavior and customer insights.
- Capability to translate business goals into practical and actionable analysis.
