Role Overview
As a Business Analyst in Controlling at Doka GmbH, you bridge the gap between data, operational processes, and management decision-making, focusing on understanding and interpreting extensive datasets. You link essential financial indicators with the company's main operational activities to uncover insights that support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale datasets across multiple business units.
- Integrate financial KPIs with core business procedures.
- Detect trends, variances, and actionable opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive reports, analytical outputs, and dashboards for management.
- Create forecasts, scenario-based analyses, and develop planning models.
- Assist with budgeting and overall corporate planning processes.
- Provide well-substantiated decision support for department heads and executives.
- Continuously enhance controlling tools, key performance indicators, and reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with various business units to strengthen corporate governance.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Strong commercial insight with the ability to contextualize numerical data in business terms.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with structured, logical thinking.
- Experience managing large and complex data structures effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of SAP systems.
- Excellent communication capabilities, skilled at tailoring complex information to diverse audiences.
- Independent, solution-focused, and accountable work style.
- Prior experience in controlling, business analysis, or a comparable analytical role.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and planning systems, especially related to integrated corporate planning, is advantageous.
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or equivalent fields.
