These roles are project-based and site-focused, ideal for engineers who thrive on hands-on involvement in complex building projects.
Role Responsibilities (Depending on Level)
- Assist in delivering building construction projects from early stages to completion.
- Oversee subcontractors and coordinate on-site activities.
- Support program management, quality assurance, and cost control measures.
- Handle RFIs, variations, progress claims, and project reporting.
- Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and other delivery team members.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in building construction projects is mandatory.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Previous roles such as Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or Senior Project Engineer.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced live construction environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Sydney for long-term project involvement.
- Note: Applicants with only civil infrastructure experience (roads, rail, utilities) without building construction exposure will not be considered.
