Role Overview
The Brand Designer will join the compact but influential Brand Creative team within Help Scout’s marketing department. You will be pivotal in ensuring all customer-facing materials consistently represent the Help Scout brand, reaching several hundred thousand people monthly.
Reporting to the Principal Brand Designer, this role is ideal for designers eager to refine their skills while producing polished, on-brand visual assets across various platforms including static visuals, motion graphics, and web content such as ads, landing pages, and product pages.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Principal Brand Designer to deliver high-quality design work across multiple projects.
- Create engaging ads and social media graphics aimed at expanding brand reach to new audiences with scroll-stopping designs suited for various formats.
- Contribute to substantial brand development initiatives including the editorial content hub and sub-brands like podcasts.
- Work with Product Marketing to visually enhance product content across diverse channels.
- Manage a balance between quick-turnaround small assets and sustained progress on larger projects by breaking work into manageable segments.
- Progressively take part in evolving the brand system as expertise deepens.
Candidate Profile
- Possess strong visual design abilities, with sharp attention to composition, typography, and fine details.
- Demonstrate curiosity and a consultative approach, valuing feedback as essential to successful outcomes.
- Have proficiency in motion and web design alongside solid static design fundamentals, with fluency in Figma.
- Communicate effectively and use asynchronous methods to advance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Know when to incorporate AI tools and other efficiencies, and are comfortable segmenting complex work.
- Embrace ambiguity and strive to clarify uncertainties for oneself and the team.
