About the Role

Johnson's Dry Cleaners, part of Timpson Group Limited, is looking for an enthusiastic Branch Colleague to join its Welwyn Garden City team. This is a permanent, full-time position for someone who enjoys working with people, delivering great service, and being part of a supportive retail environment.

The role involves working across different branches in the local surrounding area, so having a full driving licence and access to transport is essential.

Experience in retail or hospitality is helpful, but it is not required. Comprehensive training is provided from the first day, making this a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a rewarding career in customer-facing work.

Pay and Hours

The starting salary is £26,520 per year, rising to £26,624 per year after a successful trial period. There is also the chance to earn an unlimited weekly bonus.

You will work 40 hours across 5 days each week, including weekends, and overtime may become available once you are trained.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will support the branch manager with the daily running of the store, help make sure company policies and procedures are followed, and ensure customers receive consistently high-quality service.

You will also be expected to carry out one act of kindness each day for a customer or colleague as part of the company culture.

Training and Development

No previous experience is necessary. Every colleague receives detailed training from day one, with a focus on helping you learn the practical skills needed to do well and progress within the business.
