Role overview
Timpson is looking for a mobile colleague to join its service-led retail team in Preston and the surrounding area. This is a permanent, full-time position for someone who enjoys varied customer-facing work and wants the chance to build a career in a fast-moving retail environment.

What the job involves
In this role, you will support customers across a wide range of services, including key cutting, watch and mobile phone repairs, engraving, shoe repairs, photo processing, dry cleaning, and other store services. The company provides full training from day one, so prior experience is not essential. The aim is to help new colleagues learn quickly and develop the skills needed to succeed and progress.
You will also be expected to carry out one act of kindness each day for a customer or colleague as part of the role’s culture.
Working pattern and pay
The position offers a starting salary of £26,520 per year, with the possibility of earning uncapped weekly bonuses after a successful trial period. Working hours are 40 per week across 5 days, including weekends, and overtime may be available after training.
