Role Overview

We are searching for a proactive and detail-focused Booking Coordinator to join our nursing recruitment division. This full-time on-site role requires managing shift requests, coordinating with candidates, and ensuring efficient scheduling to uphold service standards and regulatory compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Handle shift bookings from NHS Trusts, care homes, and private healthcare providers.
• Match candidates’ skills, locations, and compliance status to client requirements.
• Confirm and assign shifts; send confirmation notifications to clients and candidates.
• Fill last-minute vacancies and manage shift cancellations promptly.
• Maintain and update candidate availability and scheduling records accurately.

Client and Candidate Interaction

• Communicate consistently with candidates about upcoming shifts and schedule modifications.
• Deliver excellent client service by addressing staffing needs quickly.
• Report any issues such as non-attendance or client feedback to recruitment and compliance teams.

Compliance and Administrative Duties

• Ensure candidates booked for shifts meet compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to verify candidates’ credentials including DBS checks, training, and work authorization.
• Maintain precise records within recruitment CRM systems and generate relevant reports on bookings and candidate activity.

Candidate Eligibility

Candidates with at least 1–2 years of experience in healthcare or staffing recruitment are preferred.
