This opportunity is for a Biology PhD Expert working remotely on a contract basis. The position is focused on reviewing scientific work across biology, chemistry, and translational research, and on helping improve the quality of AI-related research outputs.
What you'll do
- Assess the technical strength and scientific logic of work spanning biology, chemistry, and translational research.
- Examine research outputs used in discovery and applied science processes.
- Give clear, structured feedback that strengthens scientific accuracy and rigor.
- Work with other subject matter experts to keep datasets consistent and relevant.
- Operate independently and on an asynchronous schedule to meet deadlines and support model improvement.
Requirements
- A PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computational Biology, Translational Science, or a closely related discipline.
- A solid record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in biotech, pharma, or a similar research and development environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to communicate scientific ideas effectively.
Preferred profile
- 4 or more years of industry experience is preferred.
- Candidates located in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Europe are preferred.
