Job Overview
Zoe Techs Trading PLC is hiring a Bid Operator in Addis Ababa for a full-time, on-site role. This position is focused on managing the end-to-end tender process, from spotting suitable opportunities to preparing and submitting polished bid packages on time.
What the Role Involves
The Bid Operator will track bid and tender openings, assess whether they fit the company’s capabilities, and assemble all required documents to meet submission standards. The role also requires working closely with internal teams to ensure every proposal is accurate, complete, and delivered within deadline.
Key Duties
- Track and assess tender and bid opportunities as they arise.
- Prepare, organize, and submit bid files in line with the stated requirements.
- Work with technical, finance, and legal teams to gather the needed inputs.
- Check bid documents carefully to ensure accuracy, completeness, and on-time delivery.
- Keep bid records well structured and easy to retrieve.
- Monitor bid outcomes and compile short status and results reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, IT, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in bid or tender operations is preferred.
- Strong ability to stay organized and manage documentation effectively.
- Very good written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfortable using MS Office and PDF editing/handling tools.
- Able to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
