BI & Data Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated BI & Data Analyst to become an integral part of our expanding Data & Insight team. This position focuses on creating actionable insights that support both operational and strategic business decisions through effective reporting and analytics.

Key Duties

• Design, develop, and manage interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Perform data analysis by extracting and interpreting datasets from varied internal and external platforms.
• Generate insightful KPI reports to aid informed decision-making processes.
• Construct and preserve data models facilitating comprehensive reporting and analytics.
• Prepare detailed reporting packages for senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Conduct ongoing data quality assessments and enhance data reliability across business systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and formalize reporting needs.
• Work alongside technical and business teams on data-focused projects and initiatives.
• Participate in data governance, compliance, and information management activities ensuring data integrity.

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or Reporting Analyst with proven Power BI expertise.
• Proficiency in Power Query, Data Modelling, Dashboard Creation, and DAX within Power BI.
• Ability to manipulate and transform data sourced from Excel, CSV files, and other formats.
• Solid understanding of data quality standards and reporting best practices.
• Skilled communicator with a proven track record of working effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries.
• Background in healthcare, charity, or fundraising sectors.
• Experience applying analytical methods such as trend analysis and segmentation.
• Track record of enhancing and automating existing reporting workflows.
