Role Purpose

The Beauty Trainer is dedicated to enhancing the skills of retail staff via dynamic training sessions, coaching, and developmental programs focused on product expertise, makeup techniques, customer service, and retail execution. This role empowers Beauty Advisors and Brand Ambassadors to confidently represent LUXASIA brands and deliver superior client service that drives commercial success across various retail outlets and sales channels.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging training programs covering product details, makeup artistry, skincare, fragrances, sales techniques, and brand protocols.
• Lead beauty workshops, demonstrations, and masterclasses aimed at retail personnel and partners.
• Ensure training aligns with brand standards, business goals, and meets learner needs.
• Maintain brand certifications and stay updated through Train-the-Trainer and education sessions.
• Conduct in-store coaching visits to boost employee skills and confidence in product knowledge and customer consultations.
• Identify skill gaps through observation and feedback, developing targeted improvement plans.
• Promote consistent implementation of brand standards and consultation procedures to enhance customer experience and retail excellence.
• Support commercial performance by improving sales metrics like conversion rates and client retention.
• Assist in recruitment by participating in interviews and practical evaluations, and deliver onboarding programs for new hires.
• Support retail events and brand activations through on-site coaching and demonstrations.
• Maintain reporting on training activities, effectiveness, and development recommendations, and manage training logistics efficiently.

Requirements

• Diploma or professional qualifications in Beauty, Makeup Artistry, Retail Management, or related fields; ACLP/ACTA preferred.
• Experience in luxury retail, beauty, cosmetics, or retail training, with a strong background in makeup artistry.
• Expertise in makeup application and beauty consulting.
• Skills in training delivery, coaching, and workshop facilitation.
• Understanding of retail performance indicators and customer service excellence.
• Strong communication, organisational, and planning abilities, comfortable with multitasking and independent work.
• Willingness to work outside regular hours for events and readiness for occasional regional/global travel and training seminars.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for preparing training content and reports.
