Role Overview
DePuy Synthes invites applications for the role of Business Compliance (BCT) Associate. This hybrid position is based in Loughbeg, Ireland, with alternative hybrid opportunities possibly available at Leeds, UK.
The position is pivotal for ensuring compliance delivery across EMEA by reviewing and approving business activities to align with Health Care Compliance standards. The role functions as a trusted advisor in managing Healthcare Professional engagements, contracting, payments, and other compliance-related processes, providing practical guidance and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Offer administrative assistance to Business Compliance Specialist and Senior Specialist.
- Serve as principal contact for event compliance, contract management, and payment processing with thorough audits of all stages.
- Evaluate, guide, and approve business requests to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Draft and review contracts utilizing approved systems, templates, and workflows.
- Guarantee all operations are compliant with requisite documentation and authorizations before execution.
- Support transparency reporting activities to assure accuracy, completeness, and punctuality.
- Deliver tailored compliance training sessions to business teams as necessary.
- Manage Healthcare Professional and Group Operations travel and accommodation processes per company policies and local protocols.
- Handle purchase orders and payments accurately and promptly where relevant.
- Engage in business discussions, bringing compliance expertise to decision-making and operations.
- Maintain clear communication across geographically diverse stakeholder groups.
- Build productive relationships with business partners, providing timely compliance guidance.
- Assist with onboarding new team members.
- Identify, report, and escalate compliance issues in alignment with governance and escalation policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in administration or equivalent professional background.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
- Strong IT proficiency and excellent organizational capabilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail with dedication to audit-quality standards.
- Proven track record in maintaining accurate records within structured processes.
- Demonstrated administrative and coordination excellence.
- Proactive workload and priority management, adaptable to fluctuating demands and ambiguity.
- Exceptional communication and customer service aptitude.
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Self-driven and enthusiastic outlook.
- Preferred Experience:
- 2-3 years within the healthcare industry.
- Background in customer service, stakeholder support, or client-facing roles requiring strong administration and organization.
- Higher education credentials or equivalent professional caliber considered advantageous.

- Fluency in English required; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
- Minimal travel across EMEA territories may be necessary.

Compensation and Benefits
The expected salary range is from €42,400 to €67,965 per year. Beyond base pay, employees may qualify for annual bonuses based on individual and company performance, vacation time, parental leave of minimum 12 weeks, bereavement, caregiver and volunteer leaves, wellness reimbursements, and diverse insurance plans for employees and eligible dependents.
