Role Overview

This Barista role is a full-time, on-premise position located at a Hilton facility in Jeddah. The incumbent will be responsible for crafting and serving a selection of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages according to Hilton’s high standards of quality, presentation, and safety.

Key Duties

• Welcome guests warmly and take their orders efficiently
• Prepare coffee and tea drinks following standard procedures
• Operate espresso machines and manage basic food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries and snacks
• Handle payment transactions accurately
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and ensure equipment is well-stocked and hygienic
• Collaborate with the food and beverage team to maintain smooth operations and a pleasant environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong customer service abilities and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and coworkers
• Competent in beverage preparation and espresso machine usage
• Good communicator able to convey product information, take orders accurately, and work well with the team
• Capability to thrive in a busy hospitality setting, including standing for long durations and multitasking
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and handling cash responsibly
• Previous experience in café, restaurant, or hotel barista functions preferred but not required
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
• English proficiency is necessary; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is beneficial
