Banking IT Solutions Sales Specialist

Role Overview

This position involves developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at expanding business within major banking and insurance institutions. The role requires acting as the chief strategic advisor to key financial services industry (FSI) clients by identifying challenges related to IT infrastructure, application development, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Craft and implement a strategic market expansion plan targeting top banks and insurance companies.
• Serve as the lead strategic consultant for prominent FSI accounts to pinpoint technological pain points.
• Drive sales of IT outsourcing solutions, including digital transformation services such as Cloud, Big Data, AI, core banking support, and staff augmentation.
• Build and nurture sustained relationships with senior technology and procurement leadership.
• Manage bids and proposals for significant RFPs ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in IT business development or sales management within banking and insurance sectors.
• An established and current network with influential decision-makers in the industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the local financial sector, including trends like digital banking, legacy system upgrades, and regulatory mandates such as PDPA and Bank of Thailand IT risk rules.
• Documented success in securing IT outsourcing contracts and handling complex, long-duration sales cycles.
• Academic qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
