Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain product quality and visual appeal of bakery items including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery area is consistently well stocked and business-ready.
• Properly sign and price all bakery merchandise.
• Comply with protocols related to cold chain management, including thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, food handling, product rotation, and tracking sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow food safety regulations and perform sanitation and cleaning duties according to standards.
• Adhere to procedures for ordering, clearance, markdowns/markups, pricing, and labeling.
• Prepare bakery products by following precise thawing and baking instructions to maintain quality and appearance.
• Secure all bakery displays safely and properly.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $16.45.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicant must be aged 16 years or older.
