About the Role

A respected partner-led firm specializing in audit, accountancy, and tax is expanding its audit team by recruiting a qualified practice accountant/Audit Senior to its Cork City office. This growth is driven by excellent service standards and the addition of new managerial talent, attracting new clients nationwide. The company maintains a strong presence across County Cork and beyond. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with ongoing career development support.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with key clients, including international companies operating in Ireland.
• Work alongside managers and directors, receiving regular weekly guidance and updates.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships to foster trust and repeat business.
• Ensure audits are executed to the firm’s high quality standards.

Requirements

• Certified ACA or ACCA qualification is mandatory.
• At least two years of prior experience in practice within an Irish accountancy firm.
• Proven ability to plan, manage, and document comprehensive audits and financial statement preparations.
• Competence in reviewing junior colleagues’ work with constructive feedback delivery.

• Salary is negotiable and dependent on candidate’s experience.
